Nine excited Westgate students flew to Hannover on March 24th to meet their German exchange partners.  Their elation may also be due to the fact that they completed their work for third term before boarding that plane.  Westgate has taken  part in the Manitoba-Hamburg/Lower Saxony Exchange program for over 30 years.  We hosted 9 German students in fall for three months and now it is our turn to be hosted.  In this year the majority of the students are situated around Hannover or Luneburg close to Hamburg.  They will be living with their host families and attending their partner's school.  In addition to learning German, they will be learning how to live more independently in a different family, culture and country.  We wish them God's blessing in their new adventure!
