Adam grew up in Winkler, Manitoba where he developed a love for the arts and a strong desire to live out his faith. He followed these passions to CMU where he received a Bachelor of Arts in English and History. After CMU Adam worked for MCC Manitoba in a variety of Restorative Justice programs; including Open Circle, Circles of Support and Accountability, and Journey to Justice. After MCC MB Adam worked as a baker and cook for several years before deciding to return to school, this time the Library and Information Technology program at Red River College. After graduating Adam was blessed to be hired by one of the few Mennonite institutions in Winnipeg he had not already worked for: Westgate. In what spare time he has Adam likes to write fiction, watch movies, cook, garden, and spend time with his spouse and three kids, not necessarily in that order. His favourite books are David Copperfield by Charles Dickens, The New York Trilogy by Paul Auster, and Wise Blood by Flannery O’Connor.
